The 1416 Scholarships Program, implemented by the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye since 1929 under Law No. 1416 on Students to Be Sent Abroad, aims to meet the country’s need for highly qualified human resources in various fields of specialization within the framework of national development and industrialization.
Within the scope of the program, successful candidates are provided with the opportunity to pursue graduate education at some of the world’s leading universities abroad in return for compulsory public service upon completion of their studies.
In this context, the 2025 1416 Scholarships Application and Preference Guide has been officially published by the Ministry of National Education. The guide includes detailed information on application requirements, available quotas, the preference process, and other relevant procedures.
