Dear Students, Colleagues, and Stakeholders,
Our veterinary faculty has provided training under the 'One Health, One Medicine' framework since 2014 and is the closest veterinary faculty to the European Union in our country. Amid rapidly changing professional, scientific, and economic landscapes, our primary purpose is to educate veterinarians with transparency and a strong sense of ethics.
Located in Thrace, considered the center of modern animal husbandry, our Faculty places our students at the heart of our educational philosophy. In today's world, where the veterinary profession undertakes multifaceted responsibilities, we are adapting our current curriculum, staff, and infrastructure, structured for national and international accreditation, to train qualified veterinarians in the fields of global animal health, public health, and food safety.
Veterinary education is not merely a process focused on teaching written knowledge. It is a long journey in which individuals who can think patiently, socially, and environmentally, and who embrace lifelong learning and scientific thinking, are trained.
In addition to research and student laboratories where active learning takes place, we consider it our primary responsibility to train veterinarians who transform theoretical knowledge into advanced experience at our Animal Hospital, which operates in collaboration with our Faculty's academic staff.
Prospective students can expect a five-year program that will enable them to actively participate in clubs, social and current events, and various scientific projects during their professional training.
Located in the heart of Thrace and serving as an educational gateway to Europe, we are here to support our international students on this long journey, transforming their needs into true scientific success and training veterinarians to universal standards.
We want our graduates to know that we will always be there for them, both professionally and academically, and that they will possess the common knowledge, skills, and attitudes of good veterinary medicine.
I sincerely thank our academic and administrative staff, our students, and all our stakeholders and supporters who have trusted us and contributed to this active professional, educational, and intellectual journey.
