Occupational Health and Safety Training Given to Veterinary Faculty Staff
Occupational health and safety training was organized for the administrative and academic staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine on April 09, 2025, within the scope of the "Regulation on the Procedures and Principles of Occupational Health and Safety Training of Employees".
The training, which was held between 08:30 and 17:30 in the conference hall of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, was planned to be held once every three years in faculties classified as low-hazard workplaces and to last at least eight hours.
The training was given by OHS professionals . Occupational Safety Specialist Kenan PLATİN and Workplace Physician Dr. Türkan HASTÜRK provided the participants with comprehensive information on occupational health and safety. In line with the topics included in the relevant regulations; important topics such as occupational safety culture, legal regulations, risk assessment, prevention of work accidents, firefighting and emergency planning were detailed.
At the end of the training, which was followed with interest by all personnel, the points that the participants were curious about were clarified in the question-answer section. Thanks to the training, an important step was taken towards creating a safe and healthy working environment.
